Description Don 2025-08-17 17:45:57 UTC
Description:
After importing an image into a drawing, if I decide that II imported the wrong image, hitting the delete key deletes the page instead of the image. This can be a major pain because I may not notice that the page is gone. I have been able to bring the page back but in some cases I was not able to because I did not notice the destruction and saved the document. This is a major annoyance.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create draw document
2. create two pages
3. move to page 2
4. drag image onto page from desktop
5. hit delete key

Actual Results:
the page is deleted

Expected Results:
the image should be deleted
Note. If I use insert image from the menu this problem does not happen

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
when you import an image by dragging it from the desktop, and hit delete, the image should disappear not the page!

For me it happens only if the image is the first object, that is inserted to the page.
