Created attachment 202454 [details] One exemple of the problem, left page is blank You can see that there is a box down the page. I use it to paginate. It's not a bottom. It's a floating box, anchored to the page. (not sure about the words, I'm french...)

Your document has text boxes anchored to page. You have used them for page numbers. That is the wrong way to go. Please ask on the user list or on Ask, how to manage page numbers. BTW, in current LibreOffice versions the ability to anchor something to page is hidden, because this feature is in most cases not understood and wrongly used.

In addition I never had issues with boxes anchored to page to manage page numbers. I finally solved my issue, that was not due to this at all. But thanks for the try.
Actually I found what was wrong, but this was caused by a bug probably due to the last update : 1. The properties of my page styles were altered (the timing matches with the last update) : the alternance was broken (style following Right page is Right page, but the ont following left page was right page as well). 2. Each time I moved sections of text through the document navigator, or copy/paste precess, LO insered a "1st page" with no interaction into it randomly, whether it kept the page style it formerely WAS, or not. 3. It created conflicts with the alternance and made my document a mess. I know for sure it is not my fault because, this document is years old, has suffered many LO updates. It has been created with LO, and I frequently move sections to optimize progression. I never had problems, and took time to properly create my styles. But, I cant tell why, this has been broken in the last update. I had to check and manually modify each page style to have something clean. Hopefully, it was not a thousand pages document... Then I am sure that some where, something went wrong with the compatibility of the oldest versions...
