Comment 6 Jussi Suominen 2025-09-01 15:09:39 UTC
I was unable to reproduce this bug. When I open the attached document it opens fine and LibreOffice doesn't crash. However, when I open the file via command line I get this message:

Entity: line 1: parser error : Document is empty

^
libpng error: Stream read: no data read from the stream.

After this message the LibreOffice and the document opens fine and the LibreOffice doesn't crash.

Tested with the following versions:

Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 8c5b4a4e9ebacca8453150c898b9b558b86c5ad9

Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

Calc: CL threaded
Comment 7 Jussi Suominen 2025-09-02 08:18:28 UTC
Tested with version 25.8.1.1. Unable to reproduce. File opens fine and LibreOffice doesn't go up in flames :)

Comment 9 Gerald Pfeifer 2025-09-04 22:58:31 UTC
This magically disappeared with 20250903 daily build:

   Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
   Build ID: 2c179e7225eeca084f9221c89d44b2b26758b4f5
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.16; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3

I still reproduce the crash with the 20250828 daily build

   Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
   Build ID: 3df7f42937f8f73e6eda540105609c488ea3174e
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.16; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3

and the 20250827 daily build

   Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
   Build ID: 09a48f45d9a3e72ab761e6808701362c9c0b2e51
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.16; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3

The successful invocation (20250903) shows the following when invoked
from the command line and then open the document:

Bibisect was requested for this bug. I tried to bibisect it with bibisect repo win64-26.2 but was unable to reproduce it with any commit.
