Summary

LibreOffice 25.8.0.4 crashes when opening .docx file (regression from 25.2.5)

Description

After updating LibreOffice on LMDE 6 (Flatpak build) from version 25.2.5.2 to 25.8.0.4, LibreOffice Writer consistently crashes when attempting to open certain .docx files.

The same .docx files open normally in 25.2.5.2, so this appears to be a regression introduced in 25.8.

Steps to Reproduce

Install LibreOffice Flatpak on LMDE 6.

Launch LibreOffice Writer.

Attempt to open an attached .docx file (or any similar .docx).

Actual Result

LibreOffice crashes immediately after attempting to load the .docx file.

Expected Result

The .docx file should open normally as it does in LibreOffice 25.2.5.2.

Notes

The issue is reproducible across different .docx files (not just one).

The release notes for 25.8 mention multiple .doc/.docx related changes, suggesting a regression in this area.
