Description: Default text color is set to black (not automatic) but keeps changing to white when the cell fill color is changed to grey. Tools\options\libreOffice\applicationColors\fontColor is set to BLACK. I do not care for the auto formatting. Where is the option to disable this? Steps to Reproduce: 1.type text in cell with font color set to black 2.change cell color to any dark color 3.text changes from black to white Actual Results: text is automatically formatted to white Expected Results: text should remain black Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no
I do not reproduce. If the font color is not automatic, but black, it remains black, no matter what... Version: 25.8.0.4 (X86_64) Build ID: 48f00303701489684e67c38c28aff00cd5929e67 CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: ro-RO (ro_RO.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

Additional info: - This occurs even when the text color is set to a color other than black (e.g., yellow). - I confirmed that the font color changes to the set color only when the F2 key is pressed. - It appears to me that it's behaving the same way as when the above four settings are set to "Automatic".
(In reply to Takenori Yasuda from comment #2) > Settings: > - Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Appearance > Customizations > Font color: > Black > - Styles > Manage Styles > Default > Edit Style > Font Effects > Font Color > > Font color: Automatic > - Format Cells > Font Effects > Font Color > Font color: Automatic > - Character > Font Effects > Font Color > Font color: Automatic If you use Automatic font colour, there is no bug, but this is the intended effect. So please, eadamic, explicitly set the font colour to something, if you don't want it to change. > Additional info: > - This occurs even when the text color is set to a color other than black > (e.g., yellow). No, it doesn't, when you edit the style > Font Effects > Font Color.
