Description Musti 2025-09-01 12:23:13 UTC
Description:
In LibreOffice version 25.8.0.4, when the Tabbed interface is selected in the User interface section, LibreOffice crashes when any file is opened.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.I selected the Tabbed option in the User Interface section.
2.I wanted to edit my previous text file and opened it with LibreOffice.
3.When I opened LibreOffice, the program kept crashing.

Actual Results:
The program continued to crash.

Expected Results:
The text file should have opened normally with the tabbed interface selected.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I am using LibreOffice version 25.8.0.4 and selected the tabbed view option because I wanted to use it. After that, whenever I opened my text file with LibreOffice Writer, it kept crashing. Even though I clicked the “Recover File” option, the file kept opening and closing repeatedly. I tried opening the file with another program, and it opened without any issues, but I prefer using LibreOffice.

Thanks for reporting this bug.
But this was already solved in the version released last week: 25.8.1.
