Description: I have a problem with a pivot table in LibreOffice calc version 25.8.1. The issue is that when I select/filter a different data range in the pivot table, the chart linked to the pivot table still displays the labels from the previous data range. In other words, the labels at the bottom of the chart don’t update and remain the old ones. This issue did not occur in version 25.2; it started after updating to the current version. That’s why today I downloaded the Portable version 25.2.3.2, and there, after changing the range in the pivot table, the chart along with the labels at the bottom updated correctly. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a Pivot Table with some data. 2. Insert a chart based on this Pivot Table. 3. Change the data range in the Pivot Table (e.g. by filtering or selecting a different field). Actual Results: After changing the data range in the Pivot Table, the chart kept showing the old category labels at the bottom. The labels did not update to reflect the new Pivot Table data. Expected Results: The chart should have updated automatically, including the category labels at the bottom, to match the new data from the Pivot Table. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: This bug started in LibreOffice 25.8.1. It worked correctly in LibreOffice 25.2.3.2 (tested with Portable version). Operating System: Windows 11 pro 64-bit]. Reproducible: always.

I don't know what has done to the pivot table. After refreshing, column A disappears, adding it again, seems the pivot chart works fine. The file Pivot_table.ods attached to this report was created in Libre Calc 25.8.1.1. I have just noticed that when opening it in Libre Calc Version: 25.2.3.2 (x86) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bbb074479178df812d175f709636b368952c2ce3, the pivot table (values) displays correctly, but the chart is wrong. After opening the properties and re-adding column A to the row field, both the pivot table and the chart display correctly, but only in version 25.2.3.2. I recorded a short video to show the differences between the versions. In the video, the version with the English menu is Libre 25.2.3.2, while the one with the Polish menu is 25.8.1.1. The problem occurs when all values are selected and a few are deselected – in that case, the chart shows an incorrect legend. However, if all values are deselected and only empty fields are selected afterwards, the chart shows the correct legend. Still, it is not possible to select all values in order to display the full chart with the complete legend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_r1Nz-SW0M
I watched your youtube video with your ODS file to check whether commit eeb8ca44ac7994c0552749e190a193a44c956769 is the culprit, as it is in bug 168295. I got the same result as in your video with that commit and the commit before was working fine. As I just confirmed bug 168295, let's just duplicate this one *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 168295 ***
