Description:
Have set up a drop down list using data validate, with the data on a different tab.  I cannot then access the other tab, or even close the workbook.  I have to shut down my laptop to close LibreOffice

Similar but not the same

Data validation / drop down list works okay, but once set, I cannot access any other data tab or close down the file

The other reported issue doesn’t mention this

Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information,
and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

What about Bug 166527?
From what I've read in the reports so far and from what I know, it seems similar to this.

Sample file attached

Ive created a simple file that shows the issue

1st sheet has the drop down using data validated from the 2nd sheet

Once you use the drop sdown, you cannot then select the 2nd sheet or close down the file

Seems duplicate to me. If not, please explain. Not also bug 166527 	.
