Description Peter Ryan 2025-09-10 21:02:47 UTC
Description:
When I insert a sparkline using the default properties (Type: Line, Line thickness: 0.75), I can see it in the spreadsheet, but when I try to print/print-preview/export to PDF, it does not show.

It appears that Column and Stacked sparklines do print/export correctly.

With the Line type, I can see the sparkline in a print-preview _if_ I increase the line thickness to 1.75 although it is _very_ faint! Exporting to PDF at this thickness doesn't appear to work.

Increasing line thickness to 8 makes it ugly on screen, but quite visible in print-preview, but _still_ does not show in exported PDF documents.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Calc, and enter the numbers 2, 5, 28, 48, 15, 36 on Row 1 in Columns A-F
2.Select Row 1 Columns A-F
3.Select menu item Insert > Sparkline...
4.Change the Output range to Row 1, Column G
5.Print|Print preview|Export as PDF

Actual Results:
The sparkline is visible on screen, but does not show in either print preview or exported PDF.

Expected Results:
The sparkline should look similar to the sparkline rendered onscreen.

Reproducible: Always

I have also tested the version of LibreOffice that ships with Debian Trixie - I believe this is LibreOffice 25.2.3 - and this has the same bug.

And I have also tested with LibreOffice 7.4.7.2 which also has the same bug.

The sparkline is there but very thin, use the zoom on the preview to see it.

Agreed - not very practical though! :D
