Description Verhoeckx 2025-09-16 19:29:10 UTC
Description:
The default value of the proportional line spacing is 6%, while this should be 100%.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new document
2. Add some text
3. Select the text
4. Click on the line spacing icon
5. Select Proportional in the drop down menu

Actual Results:
The default value of the proportional line spacing is 6%.

When opening the drop down menu, the default value of the proportional line spacing is applied immediately and this makes the text really small.

Expected Results:
The default value of the proportional line spacing should be 100%.

Reproducible: Always

Okay, maybe there shouldn't be a default value at all?
Comment 5 V Stuart Foote 2025-09-17 20:31:52 UTC
Also can not confirm, Win builds. When selected from the list, Proportional custom line spacing opens matching its equivalent Single line spacing of 100%

Perhaps try with reset profile?

I reset the settings to the factory settings and chose to reset all interface and user profile settings, but despite of this the default value of proportional line spacing kept 6%.

The 6% is also shown when the item 'Single' is opened in the line spacing drop down menu (see attachment). It's only not applied.

I removed the Flatpak (with all the app settings and data) and reinstalled it, but the problem persists.
Comment 11 V Stuart Foote 2025-09-18 11:38:19 UTC
Would report on the Flatpak builds tracker to see if it is common:

I don't see how this can be a problem related to Flatpak, but anyway, I will point out the problem there. Is the Flatpak version of LibreOffice a totally different build?
