Description:
I'm using libreoffice 25.8.2.1, running on Window 11 Pro. Whenever I try to open Data Validity within Calc. It will just hanged the entier application, (I can even close the application, but to end task via taskmanager). Let me know if you need additional information regarding the bug. The problem start from 25.8.0.*

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a worksheet save as drop-list.

2.Create a new worksheet (Sheet 1)and insert sheet 1 from drop-list.Linked it so whenever drop-list update, the worksheet will get the updated version of drop-list.

3.Create another new worksheet (sheet 2) a drop down list using data -> validity, choose "Cell Range", pick up the range of "drop-list" from sheet 1. You are unable to even pick Sheet 1, end the entire application hanged. You can't save, close or even quit the application.
