Description alegrilli212 2025-09-26 07:49:28 UTC
Description:
created a text bow with curved text in powerpoint.
opened it on libreoffice.
whenever 2 glyphs are overlapping, libreoffice hides the intersection (powerpoint keeps is). this creates gaps in the text.
some complext fonts (eg: aptos) have overlapping issues on single letters as well.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. created a text bow with curved text in powerpoint.
2. opened it on libreoffice.
3. big caracters like capital letters will have the bug.

some complext fonts (eg: aptos) have overlapping issues on single letters as well.

Actual Results:
the intersection of overlapping characters/glyphs disappears, leaving a gap in the text

Expected Results:
overlapping characters/glyphs should display as the union of both.

Reproducible: Always
