Chart with long labels in an Impress presentation

Consider the chart in the attached document. Its labels are diagonalized; but if you break up "seventeen" into "seven" and "teen" in the data table - the layout changes, and the labels are now wrapped horizontal text.

This is ok, but - I want to be able to force wrapping mode even when some of the words don't fit, i.e. I want to be able to say I allow overlap of label areas, and get the horizontal labels with wrapping.

It is possible to manually rotate the text but the "forced" line break is not respected anymore in this case. Neither works on MSO.

I think if a hyphen is accepted as line break it can be expected to work with further formatting.
