Description kampie 2025-10-13 11:54:07 UTC
Description:
I have an external Apple USB-keyboard which is a few years old,
[similar like this one](https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.daskeyboard.com%2Fblog%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2FApple_Wired_Aluminium.jpeg&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=9470278ce47c8698c1fbf682f6f7591f90cc99f571329de8775c75e8eda9867b)

Since it is a "full keyboard" it has two Enter keys: a main one and one that is part of the numerical pad.

Writer crashes when I press Shift+numeric Enter. The problem does not occur with the main Enter.

I have not tested out other keyboards since I don't have any.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new Writer document
2. Press Shift-Enter with the Enter key on the numeric pad
3. Crash

Actual Results:
crash

Expected Results:
it should work and create a new line

Reproducible: Always

Not reproducible on Windows builds. en-US 104 key kb (Logitech Bluetooth K520). The numpad <Enter> combined with left or right <Shift> to generate a newline break in paragraph. Works with kb <NumLock> enabled or disabled.

Is this a regression in 25.2?

I've just tested in 24.8, the bug is also present there.
