Description haddenhamvh 2025-10-17 12:17:56 UTC
Description:
I have a mail merge document I use to create invoices. I have a spreadsheet with rows of a creation date plus up to 17 dates. The latest version of writer adds 2 days to the first 2 dates during the merge even though the spreadsheet has the correct dates. All the other dates are correctly inserted. The database file creation program hasn't changed and I have tested various date confirgurations but the problem remains. I re-installed version 25.2.6.2 and the problem is resolved.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create csv file with following fields
Name,Group,Invoice#,1 Nov 25,Room,01/10/25,hours,cost,Room2,08/10/25, etc.
2. Run mail merge using above fields in sequence
3.

Actual Results:
Name (correct)
Group (correct)
Invoice# (correct)
03/11/25 (2 days added & converted to DD/MM/YY)
Room (correct)
03/10/25 (2 days added - format unchanged)
Hours (correct)
Cost (correct)
Room2 (correct)
08/10/25 (correct)
all following fields correct.

Expected Results:
As above but with correct dates.

Reproducible: Always

Unlikely, given the version in the metadata (but yes, without the correct data copied from Help->About, and pasted here, any fields in metadata could happen to be a mistake).

Please do.
