Description: I was going through LibreOffice Impress vs. PowerPoint feature comparison listed here https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Feature_Comparison:_LibreOffice_-_Microsoft_Office#Desktop_Presentation_software:_LibreOffice_Impress_vs._Microsoft_PowerPoint And saw that there's implementation of Color/Document Themes (it does say it is partially implemented). Upon doing some more research and talking to Miklos whose website was tagged in the feature comparison, I saw that the Theme Tab under Slide Properties in Master View was available in version 7.6 (Impress 7.6 Documentation - Page 47 https://documentation.libreoffice.org/assets/Uploads/Documentation/en/IG7.6/IG76-ImpressGuide.pdf ) but wasn't available in the next version onwards. I tried this in 25.2 and in the latest 25.8.2 I checked the documentation for 24.8, 25.2, and in both of them the Slide Properties Dialog Box is different without the Theme Tab. Has this feature been deliberately removed? Steps to Reproduce: Step 1: Select Master View Step 2: Select Slide from Menu Step 3: Click on Slide Properties Actual Results: Slide Properties Dialog box appears without the Theme tab. Expected Results: Slide Properties Dialog box appears WITH the Theme tab. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: If there's a setting that I can toggle on/off to get this back, please let me know.
Apparently this was superseded by Format - Theme and the tab was deliberately removed afterwards: commit ad873064b0135e4e00389cd38c7de688286c1fa1 Author: Tomaž Vajngerl <tomaz.vajngerl@collabora.co.uk> Date: Sat Aug 12 04:03:57 2023 +0900 sd: add ThemeDialog to Impress/Draw, refactor ThemeColorChanger Add "Theme" menu action, which starts the common ThemeDialog. Add Impress/Draw specific ThemeColorChanger and remove the one in svx, so that only the interface and common function remain. Rename the svx ThemeColorChanger files to THemeColorChangerCommon. commit f4ed90bcad83ea24644c1cbf077b369ae05f004e Author: Tomaž Vajngerl <tomaz.vajngerl@collabora.co.uk> Date: Tue Aug 22 08:14:10 2023 +0200 sd: remove theme tab page Probably the guide book authors were as confused as yourself and just decided to remove the whole topic. I will alert them.
