In the "Find and Replace" dialogue -- in the "Font" tab reached by the "Format" tab -- the value for "Size" remains sticky (at least if the "find" and "replace" fields are left blank). STR: 1. Press Ctrl-H 2. Leave the "Find" and "Replace" fields blank. 3. Place cursor in the "Find" field. 4. Click "Format." 5. Specify a font (in my case, Gentium--for which the Style dialogue defaults to "regular"). 6. Specify a size, say 10 pt. 7. Click "Ok." 8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for the "Replace" field. 9. Place cursor in the "Find" (or "Replace") field. 10. Click "Format." 11. Delete the size (in this instance, I don't want to be size-specific) 12. Click "Ok." 13. Notice that either the Size shown is still 10 pt or else (oddly) has changed to 2 pt. 14. Click "Format." 15. Notice that what we see in step 13 is seen in the formatting dialogue too. None of the following steps seem to change the above result: * Clicking "Reset" in the formatting dialogue * Restarting Writer * Restarting Linux I don't know whether searching for specific text (instead of leaving the S & R fields blank) behaves the same way. Haven't tested this. Bug 157743 may be relevant. Fedora Linux 42. Gnome. I can confirm with Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: c7b3ea692f293346fbbdf2a391d9d971c34fa1f2 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: cs-CZ (cs_CZ.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded and Version: 4.2.0.0.alpha1+, where the font size after delete and save dialog comes back (not 2pt, but the same value which I deleted).
