OP replied in dupe: Version: 25.8.3.2 (X86_64) Build ID: 8ca8d55c161d602844f5428fa4b58097424e324e CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI renderer: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR Calc: CL threaded Following bug 169374 It is not necessary to provide an example file. The bug is consistently reproducible on any Calc file. You start with a blank file. You select all the cells that are useful but not protected. You protect the spreadsheet with full permissions. You enter a column of values of any size. You move the values to the right. You can no longer move them to the left because the cells are now protected without your permission. Actual Results: Cells are now protected without your permission. Expected Results: Properly manage protected cells.
While the reported details differ, I believe this is essentially the same issue as the following bug report. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167052 I noticed this specification change in the following Japanese ASK. https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/topic/123908
