Description: MS Excel help for the AMORDEGRC function has the following notice: "Important: Because of changes to the depreciation methodology of the French accounting system, this function is deprecated and should no longer be used. It is included for compatibility of old workbooks only." https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/amordegrc-function-a14d0ca1-64a4-42eb-9b3d-b0dededf9e51 I'm not familiar with the French accounting system, so I can't confirm whether Excel is correct here, but if it is, we should add a deprecation notice to LibreOffice, too (in UI, Help and the wiki). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Check out AMORDEGRC in Function Wizard in Calc or look it up in Help. Actual Results: AMORDEGRC is not marked as deprecated. Expected Results: AMORDEGRC is marked as deprecated. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: n/a
What about people not bound to the French accounting system?
Is this function used outside of the French accounting system? I have no idea, but Microsoft seems to think it's not.
I sent a mail to the FR lists to get feedback.
