Description Mihai Vasiliu 2025-11-28 10:44:28 UTC
Description:
Even if I manually set the java path, it still does not detect a valid Java environment.
The same Java path is working find if I install LibreOffice normally.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice Portable
2. Go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced
3. Add JRE, in my case the path is C:\Program Files\Eclipse Adoptium\jdk-23.0.2.7-hotspot

Actual Results:
Message box appears saying this is not a valid java environment

Expected Results:
It should be accepted, as it works in the installed version of LO.

Reproducible: Always

Could not repro in Version: 25.8.3.2 (X86_64) or Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64)

Have you tried to install a different jdk ? download and install it elsewhere to test it.

I just made the test and it works for me.

LibreOffice Portable Version is 32bit.
Therefore, a 32-bit JRE is required.
