Tested on Windows 11 64-bit with LibreOffice 25.8.3.2 stable (X86_64) and 26.2.0.0.alpha1+ beta (X86_64). Steps followed: in LibreOffice Writer, I created a line, copied it, and then pasted it at the desired location. Observed behavior: the pasted line does not appear exactly where the cursor was clicked and is inserted in a seemingly random position. While this does not critically affect functionality (e.g., in a table layout, placement can be adjusted), the issue reproduces consistently and matches the original bug report. Conclusion: Bug reproduced — line pasting placement does not match the click location.
Sort of workaround (tested on Windows): If in Tools ⟶ Options ⟶ LibreOffice ⟶ View "Middle button" is set to "Paste clipboard", then as per Help: "Clicking the middle mouse button pastes at the mouse pointer position.".
