Created attachment 204626 [details] Sample showing the bug This bug report pertains to Version: 25.2.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 38d746d66d9b82fa248a2e90142b9dd3ddd1d6cd CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Insert>Field>More Fields>tab: Variables, SetVariable See in the attached sample file: Why are the green checkmark Apply, the red button Delete and the button Insert greyed out? In the shown situation Insert should work! After clicking on the green hook, Insert is ungreyed. But a grey tool normally is not selectable! And if it stays that way, you only can close the dialog. The variable is not defined then! Strange: If you move the whole dialog field to the right window margin such that Close and Insert become invisible and if you move it back to the scene, Insert is no longer greyed out and it becomes operational! I would have expected that all four controls close to the right lower corner of the window become operational and on longer greyed out, when the variable and its value have been entered. The current behavior does not make any sense and it does not male LibreOffice easy to teach. Note: The button Edit in this dialog gets you to something completely different. The dialog could easily do without it.
