Description john.smith986 2025-12-14 00:55:59 UTC
Description:
When using Liberation Sans font with Italic, Russian Cyrillic letter т changes its width but the following letters' position doesn't adapt, so the wider т covers the following letter as well.
I'll provide an screenshot as an attachment.
This happens in Writer and Calc, I haven't tested elsewhere.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. type т followed by any other letter
2. font: Liberation Sans
3. Italic

Actual Results:
letters cover each other

Expected Results:
letters display separately

Reproducible: Always

john.smith, it could be an issue or something weird with your specific file.

Could you:

- Simplify your issue to a one-page ODT

and then attach that to this report?

Fortunately I can't reproduce the problem anymore. In the meantime I've updated to v. 25.8.4.2 (X86_64), and now the letters display correctly, I assume due to to the update.
