Menu>Tools>Options>LibreOffice>Appearance>Customizations - Manual page breaks
does the job for me.

I made a typo in comment 0 step one. When referring to "Page color". I meant "Manual page breaks"

And no, this doesn't work for me. Not on Windows not on my Mac

Sorry guys. I made a mistake. It's actually working if you pick the proper setting out of the drop down list: "Page and column breaks"

The entry's
* Page break;
* Manual page break;
* Automatic page break

are about Calc/ spreadsheet

The new UI with drop down list has no category's. The old application colors entry in Tools -> Options dialog was way more self-explanatory in this regard. See LibreOffice 24.8.0.0 and older

So there is a problem, IMHO. However not what I initially reported.
