Description Jens 2025-12-19 22:59:17 UTC
Description:
If I want to enter a number with the clipboard in LibreCalc 25.2.7.2, I can use "Import Options" to select whether this number is in German format with , or in English format with . corresponds. With LibreCalc 25.8.x this selection is not available and the number is no longer converted from 12.3 to 12,3!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install LO 25.8.4.2
2.use German Language format 12,3
3.OpenCalc
4. insert a Number in English format 12.3

Actual Results:
12.3 -> 12.3

Expected Results:
12.3 -12,3

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
use OpenCalc 25.2.7.2 and it will work

181225: tdf#65872 Remove import dialog for normal paste in Calc | https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/181225

Not a bug, intended.
Comment 3 Jens 2025-12-30 23:14:03 UTC
Why was the function I needed removed?
How can I activate the function in version 25.8.x?
Or do I have to stay with version 25.1.x?
