Description Josh Triplett 2025-12-20 02:28:33 UTC
Description:
If I use the custom number format 0.?? , I can align numbers at the decimal point, and hide trailing zeroes. However, the decimal point always displays, even for numbers with no digits displayed after the decimal point. For instance, 5 displays as "5.". I'd like to display e.g. 5 as "5", not "5.".

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a table with a column of numbers, some with numbers after the decimal point, and some integers with no fractional part.

Attempt to format it to display as described.

Actual Results:
No option to format as described.

Expected Results:
Option to format as described, either via existing number format or custom user number format.

Reproducible: Always
