Description: When I use LO Writer in Spanish, I see some strings in English, not translated into Spanish, in the LO Writer Configuration Options, specifically in the Formatting Help section, as we can see in the second screenshot I have attached to accompany this report. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice Writer 25.8.4 in Spanish 2. Click on the Tools menu (“Herramientas” in Spanish). 3. Click on Options (“Opciones” in Spanish). 4. On the left side, find and open the LibreOffice Writer branch 5. Find and select the “Formatting Aids” option (“Ayudas de Formato” in Spanish). 6. On the right side, find the strings “Non-breaking spaces and hyphen” and “Border Outline,” as shown in the second screenshot I have attached to this report. (Screenshot 02) Actual Results: The strings “Non-breaking spaces and hyphen” and “Border Outline” are in English when they should be in Spanish. I am testing LibreOffice 26.2 Beta 1 and I can confirm that this Spanish translation error also occurs in this new version, as we can see in the new screenshot I have attached to this report, validating what RGB says in Comment 4.

Those 2 strings look like they ARE NOT yet translated into Spanish yet. - - - According to LibreOffice's Weblate: The Spanish UI is: - 99% translated in LO 25.8 - 99% translated in LO 26.2 (next year's major version) So you *just so happened* to randomly stumble upon one of those rare 1%! Otherwise, if we wait until the localization team fixes the translation of one or more strings that initially appear in English, they usually take too long that can be several months or even years to solve a translation problem. On previous occasions I made reports of this type here, in this way, reporting translation problems in the User Interface in Spanish, also suggesting a translation. Then, someone reviewed that report which was directed or assigned, for example, to Adolfo Jayme or Julien Nabet who verified the existence of the problem and made the necessary adjustments to then fix the translation in Weblate. So this is how this type of error was solved in a few days. I can't pin translations directly to Weblate because I don't have the corresponding permissions. The only thing I can do on Weblate is suggest translations. But it happens that these suggestions sometimes take many months to be reviewed, consequently the solution in that way also takes too long. On the other hand, you suggest me contact the localization team. However, although I have the immense desire to contact them directly to report failures or absences in the translation of the LO interface into Spanish, I do not have a User (or Nickname) or password to log in and interact with the team and I also do not know what the dynamics or procedure are to do so.
I do not agree with the change of this report to the "RESOLVED" status because the reason why I generated this Ticket is not resolved. I understand that the regular channel for reporting translation failures may be through communication with the localization team. However, not having access to the specific channels to establish contact with them I prefer to report those errors or shortcomings in the translation through Bugzilla as I have been doing for several years which has been very effective in solving multiple string translation problems in a short time as we can see, for example in Tickets: 162993, 162676, 162674, 161798, 161553, 158649, 157402, 157402, 150243, 150084, 150055,150054, 150042, 150041, 149695, 147300, 147278, 143782, 143713, 143711, 143505, 143503, 143466, 143461, 140649, 140527, 139855, 139854, 136800, 135302, 134745, 134727, 133884, 131864, 131844, 129463, 129462, 127979, 127647, 127453, 127445, 123251, 119948, 119920, 119473, 119472 among many others also reported by other people.
For the string “Non-breaking spaces and hyphen,” I propose the translation “Espacios y guión indivisibles” or “Espacios y guiones indivisibles,” as we have proposed in Weblate.
For the string “Border Outline,” I propose the translation “Contorno del Borde,” as I have proposed in Weblate
