> display the numbers of words marked by a colour

1. Find and Replace (Ctrl+H)
2. Attributes button
3. [x] Character highlighting color
4. OK button
5. Find All button
6. See below the Find field "(i) Search key found _ times."

Also can read the word counting in the status bar.

Tested with:
Version: 24.8.7.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 480(Build:2)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: es-MX (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Thank you, but this isn't a replacement for the proposed feature. It does not distinguish between the colours, it lumps them all together. Or I don't know something

You are right.

Maybe, the bug is that the search for Format - Highlighting - Color doesn't work.
It says: "(i) Search key not found".
