Description ville.koskivaara 2025-12-27 09:39:54 UTC
Description:
In the latest version of LibreOffice Writer (25.8.4), there is a problem with the tab key when indenting text. When I am writing text and indenting my paragraphs using the tab key, the indent disappears when I press enter to move on to the next paragraph. This is a very annoying new feature (which I sincerely hope is a bug and not a feature), the use of which I honestly cannot see, and it is very detrimental to those of us using the tab key for indenting paragraphs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press the tab key.
2. Write text.
3. Press enter.

Actual Results:
The indent created by the tab key disappears when pressing enter.

Expected Results:
The indent created by the tab should have stayed in place after pressing enter.

Reproducible: Always
