Description Gerhard Weydt 2025-12-27 15:03:26 UTC
The second example is incorrect (wrong column specifications):
=SUMIF(B2:B5;">=20";C2:C6)
Sums values from the range B2:B6 only if the corresponding values in the range A1:A5 are >=20. Returns 340 because the fifth and sixth rows do not meet the criterion.

The correct text should be;
Sums values from the range C2:C6 only if the corresponding values in the range B1:B5 are >=20. Returns 340 because the fifth and sixth rows do not meet the criterion.

TO: Gerhard Weydt and raal:
I want to make this correction here, but I have another question: is the formula correct right now or it should be:

=SUMIF(B2:B6;">=20";C2:C6)
instead of
=SUMIF(B2:B5;">=20";C2:C6)

I made a commit https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/help/+/198514 but found the problem solved in the help file, but not published.

Oliver?
