I hope you’re doing well. I would like to suggest adding more advanced and interactive check box options, along with a built-in date picker feature, in LibreOffice Calc.

Currently, Calc’s check boxes and form controls are quite basic compared to those in Microsoft Excel (Office 365) and Google Sheets. Both of these platforms offer more flexible, visually appealing, and user-friendly check boxes that integrate smoothly with cell data. They also include a simple, intuitive date picker that greatly enhances the speed and accuracy of data entry.

Implementing these features in Calc would make the user experience more modern and efficient, helping LibreOffice stay competitive with other leading spreadsheet tools.

Thank you for considering this request, and for your continued effort in improving LibreOffice.

The request for a date picker as in Google Sheets is already tracked in bug 108088.
