Please try, if you get the same problem, when the document has more than one page. I see a forbidden sign, when the objects are on a single page document, but it work for me, if the document has more than one page.

Please go to Help > About, click on the button. It puts information about operating system and LibreOffice version (as below for me) to the clipboard. Please paste this information then here.

I have tested it in Version: 25.8.3.2 (X86_64)
Build ID: 8ca8d55c161d602844f5428fa4b58097424e324e
CPU threads: 32; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

That's right — tried on Windows 11 with Version 25.8.2.4.

With Version 26.2.0 it seems to work "when the objects are on a single page document".

I can confirm that it works when I add a second page.

This time the forbidden sign appears if I only have one page. This was definitely not showing the last time.

I still think this is a bug and it should work if you only have one page.

I have now tested Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64)
Build ID: 680(Build:0)
CPU threads: 32; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

That is a daily build from current master.

drag-drop inside Navigator works without problems in version 26.8, even if the document has only one page. Thus my conclusion is, that there is indeed a bug in version 25.8 but it is fixed in newer versions.

Probably fixed in TDF#130196

Seems to be fixed with dev version. Please could you test it with
dev version? You can download it here:
