Description tariq.rashid50 2025-12-31 20:21:07 UTC
Description:
The startup dialogue shows image previews of files that were previously opened.

This should be an option we can disable.

For files that no longer exist, the dialogue still shows an image. This is a security and privacy risk that is avoidable with little loss (the file isn't there, and was deleted / moved for a reason).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create or open files. Create content if empty. Save files and close Libreoffice.
2. Delete some/all files or move them.
3. Open LibreOffice - you will see previews.

Actual Results:
see above

Expected Results:
Deleted/moved files should not show previews.

The option to show previews should be optional.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Deleted/moved files should not show previews.

The option to show previews should be optional.
