Open attached document with some dummy text and with numbered headings.
Use the tool File > Send > Outline to Presentation.

LibreOffice hangs.

I see the problem in Version: 25.8.4.2 (X86_64)

This seems to have begun at the below commit in bibisect repository/OS linux-64-25.8.
