Description:
When i want to add a non-breaking space and press CTRL +SHIFT + SPACE, the correct fomatting mark is shown but the words don't get separated by a space. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write some text
2. in between this text press CTRL + SHIFT + Space to enter a non-breaking sapce

Actual Results:
a) Nohting happens, the word(s) don't get separated (no space entered)
b) with "show formatting marks" enabled, the mark for a non-breaking space is shown (but still no actual space is entered)

Expected Results:
A (non-breaking) space between the words should be entered and displayed

While trying to provide an example file, i found the bug:
It was in the Font (Lato)
Uninstalling an newly installing the font fixed the problem.
Sorry for bothering.
