What operating system and desktop? Please post the Help -> About LibreOffice panel details. Would you please first split [1] the problem PDF, and then open each page individually into draw? Is there a specific page of the PDF that chokes the poppler based import filters? And once the PDF is split into pages, check the alternate pdfium based filter to insert any troublesome PDF page(s).
