Description Gianni Angelozzi 2026-01-06 10:17:57 UTC
Description:
While investigating a bug with Gotenberg https://github.com/gotenberg/gotenberg/issues/1175 I've discovered that the problem is in the LibreOffice conversion. Using bibisect I've found the problematic commit https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/ac5d5b4d7901b347b9b610b536317b30ec785f68 that causes a loop with certain files

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the problematic document
2. soffice --headless --convert-to pdf mydoc.docx --outdir out

Actual Results:
Process hangs, no file is generated, crash after 15s

Expected Results:
The PDF file gets created

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Reverting that commit and building from source fixed the problem
