Description: I installed some new fonts downloaded from google fonts while LibreOffice Draw was running and the application hung (I had to use Task Manager to shut it down) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice Draw 2. Browse to google fonts and download a font 3. Open the font file in Windows Font Viewer and use the 'install' option Actual Results: LibreOffice Draw hanged Expected Results: LibreOffice doesn't crash when fonts are installed. Reproducible: Didn't try User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-GB Module: DrawingDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no Version: 7.6.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 38d5f62f85355c192ef5f1dd47c5c0c0c6d6598b CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 26200; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded
Could you please try the same in newer LiberOffice version like 25.8.4?
I've uninstalled and reinstalled with V 25.8.4: Version: 25.8.4.2 (X86_64) Build ID: 290daaa01b999472f0c7a3890eb6a550fd74c6df CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded When I attempted to replicate by: - Opening Draw - Starting to creating a document (including adding text) - downloading and install a font from Google Fonts (via system dialogue) This time instead of crashing completely, the app hung for a few moments (I got a 'not responding' message) and started working again. (Installed font appeared in fonts list after closing and re-opening app - which I'm unbothered by)
