Description Nate 2026-01-14 19:17:36 UTC
Description:
The control key + left mouse selection in libreoffice calc behaves inconsistently when selecting cells that are somewhat far apart and some cells between them have been enlarged.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a new calc spreadsheet
2. Widen column B to 15"
3. Click select cells A1:A2
4. Hold control key, horizontal scroll right, then select N1:N2

Actual Results:
The entire range A1:N2 is selected as a large, continuous block.

Expected Results:
Only the small blocks A1:A2 and N1:N2 (4 cells total) should be selected.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I can't seem to reliably reproduce this issue. Sometimes the scrolling is adjusted and it won't trigger for whatever reason. I've found that if I can't trigger it going one direction (A1:A2 then N1:N2), it'll trigger going the other direction (N1:N2 then A1:A2).
