Description nouvo09 2026-01-20 08:38:38 UTC
Description:
I just installed the new LO 26.2.0.1 release on my Fedora29. I'm glad with it and do not intend to switch.
Since years, LO always worked on all Centos, Fedora, Rocky and others.
And suddenly, yesterday I'm told it won't continue because some component want a new glibc library.

Is it a bug or is it on purpose and should I stop upgrading ?
thx

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install LO 26 on an older linux distribution
2.Try starting LO it won't
3.Start /opt/libroffice26xxx/program/writer in a terminal and you got the error message.

Actual Results:
hangs at start

Expected Results:
LibO to work as always did

Reproducible: Always
