Description qwebtw 2026-01-20 15:10:37 UTC
Description:
When setting up a Paragraph style the Indents & Spacing values do not apply to the actual paragraph. The actual paragraph has a different value that can be edited by direct formatting. However after applying the Style or removing the direct formatting the value returns to the false value.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Paragraph has an Indent before text value of 5.
2. Set the Paragraph style Indent before text value to 0.
3. Nothing changes
4. Direct formatting Paragraph still has a value of 5.
5. This can be changed to 0 and it works.
6. However after either removing direct formatting or applying Paragraph Style with 0 value, the Indent returns to the value of 5.

Expected Results:

Reproducible: Always

Additional Info:
This particular document has been converted from a .pdf file to .odt with Word Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2021, then opened with LibreOffice on Linux. Paragraph styles have been automatically imported from the Word formatting environment. Creating a completely new Style will have the same issues.

"5. This can be changed to 0 and it works."

correction

5. This can be changed to 0 via direct formatting which works.
