Example file from Impress

When I try to click on a numbering in Impress, in order to highlight is text, it is very easy to hit the area to do this.
If I try with a bulleted list, it becomes rather difficult to hit the area, often the cursor gets put in front of the text instead of highlighting the line.

1. Open attached file
2. On the first slide hover the mouse above the numbering until it becomes a 4-direction cross icon, click to highlight the line
-> this is very easy, the area where the pointer changes shape is rather large
3. Go to the second slide, try the same
-> rather hard to hit the right area, easy to click between the bullet and the text
