Description Nick Rostas 2026-01-27 17:38:58 UTC
Description:
In all database (including sample databases) the application stops responding on this one option "open document/webpage" on my Mac mini (newest OS). I would like to make this button to close/exit the form. The URL property is not available until the Action is set, therefore ".uno:CloseDoc" cannot be applied. Any suggestions? This appears to be bug in the application...

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a new form, or open an existing form.
2. create a push button, open control properties
3. try to set "Action" property to "open document/web page"

Actual Results:
Entire application stops responding, even top Mac menu stops. Have to use a trick to "Force Quit" LibreOffice altogether.

Expected Results:
make the setting, then set "URL" property to ".uno:CloseDoc". This should allow for using the button for exiting/closing the active form.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Allow setting and just keep functioning as it should. Tried to Open LibreOffice in "safe mode", now it does not start at all.

Couldn't confirm with
Version: 25.8.4.2 (X86_64)
Build ID: 290daaa01b999472f0c7a3890eb6a550fd74c6df
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE
Calc: threaded

Action could be set, saved and works well.

Have set Hardware to macOS. Might be it's a special Mac-bug
