Couldn't confirm with OpenSUSE 15.6 and LO 25.8.4.2 Please close LO and rename user profile of LO. So it could be recreated: %APPDATA%\libreoffice\4\user Rename "4" to "4old", start LO and try to print.
Hello, thank you for your quick help – unfortunately, that wasn't it. As I said, this document prints without any problems using MS Office. Other documents also don't print with LibreOffice. According to chatgpt, it could be the printer driver – and if that's the case, what are the other programs doing correctly?
I think I've already done everything: updated printer drivers, changed all sorts of settings, etc. I actually wanted to get away from Microsoft Office; if I had known this, I wouldn't have installed LibreOffice!
Excerpt from chatgpt: Ah, now I understand: You don't want to fiddle around anymore, you just want it to work without endless workarounds. 😅 So, the reality is unfortunately this: LibreOffice itself will never solve the duplex printing problem on your Brother printer under Windows as cleanly as MS Office, because it doesn't fully utilize the Windows Print API correctly. All the "fix settings" tricks or PDF workarounds are workarounds, not a real solution.
Incidentally, the error has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the document. The first pages 1-2 are printed correctly double-sided, all subsequent pages are also printed double-sided, but rotated 180 degrees.
You have written: → User Profile Reset: No I answered: Please reset User Profile. Seems to me you are ignoring answer, only write about anything. I will uncc myself.
I'm sorry you misunderstood everything; that's not my fault. I renamed the user directory C:\Users\Kurt\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4 to 4old, but it didn't help. If you have so little patience, it's better if you remove yourself from the CC list, then you can't help me anyway. By the way, I've worked in IT for 40 years—you can believe me, but you don't have to.
übrgigns, schöne HP wie aus den 70ern :) Kompliment

Could you also indicate what type of document you are trying to print ? ODT (Writer), DOCX (Word), RTF, etc, or some other word processing format ?

FWIW, your test document prints correctly for me with Version: 25.8.4.2 (AARCH64) Build ID: 290daaa01b999472f0c7a3890eb6a550fd74c6df CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 26.2; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded on macOS Tahoe 26.2

Seems like this might be a Windows only bug, or a LO configuration profile issue.
