This has been happening to me now for at leas a couple of years. I have raised it, only to be told I must be doing something wrong, but How am I supposed to work that out?

For a time, I just stopped using the Dev versions, but that is frustrating because it does not happen with Calc, or Writer, and since most of the community I exchange fields with are typically using MS Office, the latest Dev versions typically can handle MS better.

I also use the dev versions because it is my way of giving back.

Could you rename your LibreOffice directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) or run LibreOffice in safe mode (https://help.libreoffice.org/7.2/en-US/text/shared/01/profile_safe_mode.html) and give it a new try? Thank you
