Description: A file created in the stable version crashes when opened in the Dev version Steps to Reproduce: 1.create doc in stable version (auto download from package manager) 2.save 3.open file with Dev version Actual Results: either does not open at all or crashes soon after opening Expected Results: If it works in stable version, so should it in dev version Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: PresentationDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) Build ID: fe4cb5de3fa77562a1a4decc67836e8f79000400 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-ZA (en_ZA.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded This has been happening to me now for at leas a couple of years. I have raised it, only to be told I must be doing something wrong, but How am I supposed to work that out? For a time, I just stopped using the Dev versions, but that is frustrating because it does not happen with Calc, or Writer, and since most of the community I exchange fields with are typically using MS Office, the latest Dev versions typically can handle MS better. I also use the dev versions because it is my way of giving back.
