Description Richard M 2026-01-29 20:04:14 UTC
Description:
When configuring a slideshow when you have multiple monitors it seems the monitors are numbered within Impress. Unfortunately many desktop environments don't use monitor #s they use names instead. It would be helpful to have the friendly name displayed in Impress so that a user knows exactly what monitor will be used without guessing.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open slide show.
2. Set up slide show and see the list of monitors.
3. Guess which one will actually be correct.

Actual Results:
We have to guess which monitor the presentation will show on.

Expected Results:
Select the specific monitor with confidence that it will be correct.

Reproducible: Always

I think that covers it. :-)
