Description: I was trying to Find and Replace the size of the indent on paragraphs in a Writer document. My units of measurement are set to millimetres and my Languages to English UK and others to Australian English, both metric countries. However when I press the up arrow on the "Before text" option, only inches are displayed. See attachment. I killed Libreoffice from the task manager and restarted, but it persisted, even in new empty documents. Safe Mode also made no difference. I'm surprised that this basic error exists in LO. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open new document 2. Go to Find and Replace --> Format 3. Go to Indents and Spacing 4. Go to Before Text and press the up arrow. Actual Results: Inches are used, not the millimetres set in Options as default for LO and Writer. Expected Results: Millimetres should have been used Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: When you tell the software to use metric units, that's what it should do

Confirm, regardless of language. Setting the measurement unit to millimeter sets the unit to millimeter in Indents and Spacing, but after a restart of Writer, the unit in Indents and Spacing reverts to inch, even though the unit in the settings is still millimeter Version: 25.8.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 290daaa01b999472f0c7a3890eb6a550fd74c6df CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: fr-FR (en_US.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Flatpak Calc: threaded Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha1+ Build ID: c98b1f1cd43b3e109bcaf6324ef2d1f449b34099 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL
