Description Petra Vašíčková 2026-02-06 11:32:03 UTC
Description:
Since LibreOffice 26.2, vertical spacing between individual footnotes is enforced and cannot be disabled via styles.
This removes user control over document layout.
Footnotes are part of typographic design and must remain author-controlled, not hardcoded by developers.
Please add an option to disable additional spacing between footnotes or restore pre-26.2 behavior.

Actual Results:
Just try make twoo footnotes on one document page

Expected Results:
Return back posibility have no empty line between footnotes I want back control over my work!

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I tried change setting like no soacing between colums of sanevstyle and etc.and no it do nothing

I cannot reproduce the problem on

Version: 26.2.0.3 (X86_64)
Build ID: afbbd0df0edb6d40b450b0337ac646b0913a760c
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: es-ES
Calc: threaded

I don't see extra space between footnotes and stiles work as intended.

Please, upload a sample document presenting the problem.
