Created attachment 205405 [details] Crashed Impress stack trace from KDE When trying to add an audio file to an empty presentation, Impress almost instantly crashes. Steps to reproduce: 1. Run Impress 2. Insert an audio file (tested with .wav and .mp3) Workarounds: Setting SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 fixes the problem - audio can be embedded. Versions affected: Still: 25.8.4-1 Fresh: 26.2.0-2, 25.8.4-3 System info: OS: Arch Linux (updated just before filing a bug) GUI: KDE LO UI: kf6 (cairo + wayland) gstreamer installed (gstreamer, gst-plugins-base, gst-plugins-good, gst-plugins-bad, gst-plugins-ugly, gst-libav) Stack trace: Relevant thread only (libreoffice-impress-audio-crash-stack-trace.txt) Other notable info: The same audio clip embedded in Writer does not cause a crash.
Please attach an audio example that make LibreOffice crash at adding it to the presentation. Please test with Menu>Help>Restart in Safe Mode. Please paste here the information in Menu>Help>About LibreOffice. (There is an icon in the center to copy the information).
