Description: Deleting a table style from AutoStyles dialog and table styles deck, but not from Table Insert Dialog Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Writer 2. Insert a table (CTRL+F12: Box list blue) 3. Cursor inside the table 4. Menu Table -> Autoformat Styles 5. Delete Box list blue 6. Press OK for the conformation 7. Press Cancel to close the AutoFormat Dialog 8. Insert a table (CTRL+F12: Box list blue) Actual Results: There are two interconnected problems: * Box List Blue still present in Insert Table after deletion * Tables can have the Box List Blue style, although the style being deleted. So it's impossible to manage. Expected Results: No clue what direction being preferred, but this shouldn't be possible. A solution: * Deleting a style should remove the table style from all tables using that style or forcing to pick a different table style * Box list Blue shouldn't be present in Insert Table Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) Build ID: 680(Build:0) CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
When I delete a TS in the AutoFormat dialog the entry is deleted and the one before selected - Academic. And after pressing Ok the table in the document is updated - but only the currently active and not all with the same TS. And what does not work is a refresh on the sidebar. Undo does not bring back the deleted style, neither in the AF dialog nor in the sidebar (but the tables in the document are restored). If we get rid of the AF dialog, as considered at some point, we could provide the delete functionality with the sidebar only, where deletion of TS is blocked for the inbuilt and applied TS. Otherwise the same logic should be added to the AF dialog.
